Jude 3 Apologetics Ministry

Searching? We're here to help you find direction.

This website is about Christian apologetics The name Apologetics comes from the Greek word apologia :(ἀπολογία, is a legal term that means to give a "verbal defense, or make a case in defense"). It is a field of Christian theology which aims to present a rational basis for the Christian faith, defending the faith against objections.

The primary verse apologists use is 1 Peter 3:15:

"But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give an answer to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you.  But do this with gentleness and respect".   The Greek word in this passage for answer is apologia.

Another important passage is 2 Corinthians 10:5:                                                              "We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ".

Finally the passage Jude 3 from which we get our website.                                        "Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints."

Apologists have based their defense of Christianity on historical evidence, philosophical arguments, scientific investigation, and arguments from other disciplines. Christian apologetics is not a new idea many in the early church were apologists including the apostle Paul. Today we have many who have followed in this traditions that have had an impact on my life such as
: William Lane Craig, Norman Geisler, Ravi Zacharias, Gary Habermas, J.P. Moreland, Paul Copan, Phil Fernandes, Frank Tureck, Greg Koukl, Alister Macrath, Dinesh D'Souza, Nancy Pearcey, Paul Shockley, Mary Jo Sharp and many others.

The Mission of Jude3 Apologetis Ministry is to help believers prepare for the defense of the Christian faith, with the goal of strengthening the faith of believers and engaging the questions and removing intellectual obstacles unbelievers have to trusting Christ as their Savior.

  • Transformational teaching through the renewing of minds.
  • Engaging the culture with the Biblical worldview.
  • Equipping the saints so they can contend earnestly for the faith.
  • Doing this in Love, reflecting the Love of Christ to others while fulfilling the command to be salt and light in this world.

To confirm the faith of many believers and show them that the Scriptures are true and science when understood does not disprove Scripture but in fact validates the truth claims of the Bible.
